17 sheep missing from farm in Wick area

SEVENTEEN sheep went missing from a farm in the Wick area towards the end of February, it has emerged.
Police believe they may have been stolen and have launched an investigation into sheep rustling.
Northern Constabulary’s duty sergeant, Debbie Simpson, stressed the case has been an isolated incident and there have not been any further reports of sheep theft in the county this year.
The farm and the date of the incident have not been disclosed as police continue to carry out lines of enquiry.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Wick Police Station on 01955 603551.
