The Commissioner for Victims of Crime has suggested that the right to trial by jury for lesser offences should end in England and Wales. Will this be good for justice?

this country has been reknown for fairness within trials "Trial by peer" if we lose that right it will be the mps and the establlishment who will allways win ! at the moment a police persons word stands for no more than a normal civilians ! how many police lie? how many cases have been proven in the last couple of months that police have attacked inocents?
If we lose the right of a jury we will be tried soley by the establishment(who have to look good ) we will be a "Mugabi" form of justice / taliban !! believe me believe me not !!
this is not the kind of society I would want my grandchildren or thier kids to live in!!

Should lesser offences forego trial by jury? 44866 i half agree because a feel a lot of the pomp needs to go
only for the simple things like a shop lifter caught on cctv shouldnt have the right to waste public money
because he has a choice to go to crown court
