| @ Sandie. There is a big differance between a Homo- sexual and a Transexual. Ask some Gays if they wanted a sex change and most of them would say no. | |

| what did those people do before medical advancement allowed those op s to happen. i just dont believe people are born in the wrong body. if one wishes to change gender then i think they should pay for it themselves .. i know a guy who was married, fathered two kids then decided he wanted to be a female. he now is one thanks to the taxpayer and the nhs. personally, looking at him i think he shoulda stayed as a guy.
ps. thats my opinion and im entitled to it .

ps. thats my opinion and im entitled to it . They did the same thing they do now, have sex, they just couldn't get an operation to change sex.. homosexuality has been around for hundreds of years, the difference these days is that people aren't worried about admitting to it like they used to be say 100 years ago, or even 50 years ago.. As for paying for a sex change yourself goes, why shouldn't some operations be paid for by the taxpayer IF the person can't afford to pay themselves?.. in a few very real cases, the person concerned may cost money for psychiatric care if they don't have the operation, so why not just do it and save the money in the long term?.. people undergoing these operations are thoroughly examined by psychiatrists before they're allowed an operation anyway, and at the taxpayers expense...
