Amy Winehouse

Was found dead in the flat this afternoon by emergency services. I cannot join in with some of the comments on the DM who say she deserved it. No she didn't. Yes she took drugs and she drank too much but she never murdered anyone. She obviously had mental health problems and in the end they proved too much for her. I wasn't a fan of her music but it's still very sad. There are family and friends who love her and who will be devastated by this.

I am so sorry to hear this although it comes as no surprise, i've been saying for ages that this would happen. I wasn't a fan of hers nor did i like her songs but i think she was a foolish young woman who would listen to nobody, not even her father. I feel sorry for him and the family. R.I.P.

I wasn't a fan of hers either but do feel that a young woman should put herself in such danger so often.It's a pity somebody couldn't have helped her.

have to agree fully with killie . when you think on all the people with cancer etc , striving for life n some one like amy throws it away .. sad all the same rip .

I agree johno, she had it all and she threw it away. She was obviously mentally ill though. Her demons got too much for her in the end. Very sad, she's only 27.
