No parole for James Bulger killer Jon Venables

JAMES Bulger’s killer Jon Venables today lost his bid to be released on parole, following a hearing in Leeds.


Venables, one of two boys who abducted the two-year-old from a shopping centre in Bootle, Merseyside, in February 1993, was jailed for two years last July after pleading guilty to downloading and distributing indecent images of children.


The Parole Board has been considering the case for his release, but James’s mother, Denise Fergus, wrote on Twitter: “good news all just heard venables is NOT getting released xxx”

i think he should stay in there if they have done it

they should of been kept in for life they gave him a new identity and a new flat very close to where my flat was

He should have gone to prison not been let out with a new name.Even if he was a kid when he murdered the poor little boy he knew then it was wrong.

Neither of the 2 of them should have seen the light of day ever in their life again. Poor wee Jamie is still dead after all, it's not as if Jamie can be brought back to life when they get released from prison, so therefore they should NEVER be released either.

it s a hard one this, he was just a kid himself when they committed that terrible crime . what they put that poor child through was horrific.
i think he s very disturbed and should be put away for ever . for him to live with what he did ??. it s beyond belief .but being locked up with his own kind and having to live with what he did ,, better him than me ,, he has no life .
nor do s he deserve one .
