People who volunteer to help the elderly or disabled could earn time credits which they could then redeem for their own care later in life. Would this work?

I think this is a brilliant idea and would maybe get more people to help the disable/elderly

I live in an area that's mostly retirement villages and people get paid to do that job...taking people out to the shops..helping them in their homes to have a normal life...even going to the pub with them and even staying overnight if needed..the volunteer thing seems like a good idea but also seems like somebody wants to get out of paying people for their work and will mean maybe people out of work because of it

It is just another condemn trick to not pay for services that they should pay!! also they say that you will get credits for your own Care! ERRRM they have raised the pension age they have broken every promise they have made so far so what makes you think they will keep this one? the way things are going unless you have a vast sum of money for retirement you will have no chance I can just see Scameron bring out Forced euthanasia at 70 if you do not have enough savings to pay your own way!!
