| When I was at school I couldn't wait to leave and get a job and everyone used to tell me I'll be wanting to go back to school when I start working for a living, but I never did until recently. I don't think I'd like to go back full time but I'd love to go back to school for a day knowing what I know now.
I'd tell a couple of the teachers exactly what I think  and I'd love just walk into my form room and have a play time.
Would you go back for a day if you could? :D

| I hated school and couldn't wait to leave either. I just wanted to get out and earn my own money. I worked in a wine bottling factory from the age of 16, I was the youngest there so was the baby.. I worked there for 14 years so kinda grew up in the place. I think they were the best days of my life we had great fun. Lol But in aswer to your question... No I dont think I would want to go back to school now, not even for a day. Lol | |

| I would hate to go back to school, even for a day. I did a college course about 15 years ago and thankfully that only lasted 3 months. That was long enough, I hated every minute. But it would be nice if we could turn back time and be back at school age and going to school, with the knowledge and experience that we have gained over the years. Just a dream..........................."Youth is wasted on the Young" ;) | |

| I agree mazzie, I think you need some sort of life experience before you go to school Lol, that would be good. The teachers tell you that you should not follow what everyone else does and you should have a mind of your own and then if you use your own mind and disagree with a teacher you get a detention I used to find that so confusing Lol I'm going to use that line mazzie .... 'Youth is wasted on the young' | |

I like that one too mazzie :D Many of us tend to lose that inner child when we get older. Anyway, I've had some form of social anxiety all my life and I hated going to school. Actually I didn't hate it, I was scared to go. I'm a totally different person now and I'd love to go back as the new me .... but I'm not in a big hurry. :D

| Awwwwe Dennis :squeeze: It must have been hell for you but to turn yourself around like you have is fantastic. I think you must be a very strong minded person and to suffer anxiety of any nature show's that you must be a caring person | |

It WAS hell but ya know what? I wouldn't change a thing. As you already know, I learned a lot about people and life and myself in the process of overcoming it. And that probably wouldn't have happened if my life had been normal. Whatever the hell normal is. I really don't know what normal is Dennis I don't think I'd change anything in my life either because the bad things in your life teaches us how to avoid those things in the future and the good gives us reason to fight the bad things I believe that in every bad thing you can find a positive if you look for hard enough (I think I've said that to you before Lol) and there is always light at the end of every one of life's tunnels and it's mostly up to each one of us how long that tunnel is going to be. :D

| Awe thank you Dennis :squeeze: I think we have the same kind of attitude but I try and live by things I say but sometimes find it hard to do that. I think one of the hardest things to do is to find a positive in a negative if you know what I mean Lol. If you can do that then you're a winner (I'm not quite there yet but I'm trying all the time and won't give up trying) I think that's how you've got the the mine state you're in Dennis, you never gave up ;) | |

Just keep doin' what you're doin' and you'll be okay. :D And you're right again - I never gave up. :smile2:

| Thanks Sheka :D You know, when I think back I don't know why I stayed in school but I'm glad I did. My parents probably wouldn't have let me quit anyway. :D | |
