| the inn's by far the best forum i've been on, i love how we all get on and the banter is good, i'm afraid that most of the forums i,ve been in are to straight laced for me. THE INN ticks all my boxes | |

| I think it takes good members who post regularly and can enjoy a laugh together, also having a good team of staff to make people feel at home and happy to be posting. | |

| I must admit i'm a member of a fair few myself, some i visit every couple of days and others every day, like the Inn, i visit here quite a few times a day because it's run well and the memebers all interact with each other all the time, you are also guaranteed a laugh or two as well. I'm the opposite from you wiseguy, one forum i'm a member of has a huge m/ship but to me has not got much of a personality and the members all seem to keep themselves to themselves(with the exception of maybe 3 i've got to know)they are the only reason i go back now and then. |

| Active member-base Helpful members towards the new members An area to enjoy the forum more, whether it's an arcade or shoutbox Pleasant members and staff Staff members who listen to ideas, suggests and complaints Not over-policed by Moderators if you've made a SMALL mistake Not overan by members who can't be bothered to use full English grammar A place where you can come and unwind with a bit of posting and banter
I could go on, but I won't. I've been on over 200 forums in my life, probably over 300 and not many forums have got all of those things listed above and I have to say, this is one of those forums! And as a retired Forum Inspector/Reviewer, I should know what a good forum looks like!

| I like to be different but not in a weirdo sort of way should also add though that the people that run the site should always take an interest in it..I hate on some sites they leave the members to get on with it | |

| I think the layout of a site does attract me to it in the first place and if its an open site I usually read round and look to see if the members have a good sense of humour. Serious topics are great and I do like to have my say in them, but most of the time I come on the internet to chill out and have a laugh. So to be honest I dont think I could find a better bunch of members than the ones on here for that. I also totally agree with you about the people that run the site needing to do their fair share of taking part. I begin to lose interest in a place if that happens. Sooo wg, when you gonna start doing your bit round here!!! I'M KIDDING!!!!! Lol | |

Cookie why would anyone think you are strange? you are one of the nicest people I know. I think good staff like livingdoll said is essential for welcoming new members talking to everyone and making them feel at home and making them feel like they have been here for years. A nice and friendly atmosphere.. And one thing I like about this site is there are no clicky groups which you can find on some sites, they say hello to their new members in a welcoming post when they first join then don't bother.. And there are only three sites which I can actually say I really do like including this one..
