Have you ever had any bad experiences with dentists?

Do you get scared if you have to go to the dentist?

as ive had every bone in my face broken yes they scare the sh*t outta me

i am scared to death of them in fact i am in the process of getting alot of work done to my teeth...if i had the guts and money i would get them all pulled and get false ones to get it over with........ :(

I'm more nervous than scared when I have to go to the dentist. Never had any bad experience though. It's just the thought of having that injection into my gums if I need any work doing that worries me

When I was a kid I used to run out of there screaming. I was petrified of them. Calmed down a lot as I got older. I still don't like that hardly but needs must.

Well I did have a very bad experience once, the dentist actually started drilling my tooth with out giving me enough anaesthetic and when I lifted up my hand to tell him he said oh sorry then gave me some more which I swallowed. And to make things worse when he did start drilling my teeth I ended up swallowing the loose fillings I could have choked.. :gah:
I now go to a private dentist even though it cost me more but after that experience I wanted to find a dentist who was gentle and I found one and now I am not scared at all.. :D
