Ever Lost Your Purse/Wallet or Had it Stolen?

I did have my purse stolen from my bag once years ago. I was in a nightclub and thought these two fella's were acting a bit strange and they left rather quickly, but I was young and never gave it a second thought until I found my purse was missing. I didn't have a lot of money in it but was more upset because I hadn't had my driving long then and that and some other bits and bobs went with my purse. Needless to say. I am a lot more careful these days.

nope, but i have 2 purses one that i keep in my bag and another that i keep my council tax and gas money in i've an awful habit of forgetting where i 've put 2nd purse
on thursday night when hubby gives me his paypacket thats where the fun and games start me raking for the purse

You saying about the purse you keep money in for bills and not being able to find it. I use envelopes and when my daughter (who gets paid weekly) asks to borrow money sometimes during the week, I say......oh take it from so and so, then if her long term boyfriend asks (who gets paid monthly) I normally say, well as you cant give it back till the end of the month it had better come out of the bank.......and despite always making a note of it. I still get in a muddle and cant remember whats come from where!!!! .......bloody kids!!! :gah:

candy i have the same problem, son asks for a lend of money to go out for a while i put a note in my purse to remind me..................trouble is every time i lend him money i never remove the note for the one he has paid me back, what a ravel i get myself in

Funny you should said that Candy because the same type of thing happened to me. It was around 25 years ago and there was about half a dozen of us girls in the nightclub. We put our bags under our coats on the seat and were dancing. We kept checking now and again and seemed fine. When I went to get my bag later it was gone and only mine was taken. I went to the lou and found it in there, not only had they taken my purse but filled my bag with water which meant my documents were soaked right through. I was surprised that it was a girl that had done this. I didn't know who though..

I dropped my handbag getting out of the car after visiting my brother in hospital, realised a couple of minutes later and rushed out to the car but it had gone, lost my phone and my purse, had about £100 in it. Learnt my lesson after that, never have much money in my purse now, always use my debit card, at least that way if my purse goes missing my money is still safe in the bank

Yes I had an handbag that was taken from me when I was ateenager that I left on the floor at adisco and someone swiped it with out me noticing.

I lost my wallet in Manchester in November, but I noticed I had lost it and managed to find it where it was, down the side of a sofa in a cheap-KFC place.
