I think storms like this are the worst at night. You can't see what's going on because it's soo dark. If transformers or electrical wires go down, then the only light we have is from the lightening. :shock: Now you know why I post when these storms come around. We don't get these all of the time, but when we do it's scary. We're not always next to some swirling, menacing cloud. Some of the storms around here are awesome to behold. Just every once in a while we get bad ones.

Wow, that must be some experience TG and as you say, not always a pleasant one. No, i would'nt like to see that near me let alone live there, i think i'll just stick to not so hot old Scoland. :: You are a very brave lady TG. ;)

OMG texas............thats horrendous. I'm glad I live in wet rainy with a little sunshine Scotland. I couldn't cope with that stuff.

Crazy, huh? :shock: The funny thing is, I don't know how I would handle the Scottish weather with it being so warm/hot here. I might freeze over there!! :: Guess I'll find out when I get up there...someday. :)
