seriously though i was in my dream job , i was a heavy duty crane driver in the oil industry.



then i fitted kitchens & bathrooms . i loved that ..wood working. and the challenge of making up the odd sized cabinets to fit the odd sized space.

Oil field work is good money. My daughters boyfriend works the rigs and he makes 50 bucks an hour.

When you say wood working, do you make things besides cabinets?

room units . tables . dining room show cabinets . coffee tables . picture frame s etc etc.

hardwoods, ... Walnut if i can get it, mahogany s nice . i like the darker grained wood s,

comes out nicer in the polishing.

worked a lot with the manufactured veneers. they do the job but it s really expensive rubbish.

yes, im passionate about m/bikes.
bought my 1rst bike at 14 for scrambling. My uncle gave me an old 1920.1930 s Indian chief think it was 1000cc that he thought was junk lying in his shed. an in line 4.
i ran that till i blew the engine up then i scrapped it. wish i had it today, in any state of repair.
then i had a succession of bikes..ducati 250.. Ariel 350 red hunter.. ariel arrow 250 twin 2 stroke..a 1939 ex army ariel 350 rigid with girder front forks.. seized the engine on that
ducati 600.. bsa 250..bsa bantam 2stroke 175...bsa 650 super rocket.. yamaha 600 .... honda 400 4 cyl..suzuki 900 3cyl.. kawasaki 1300.. ajs 350 twin. matchless 500 twin . norton commando..i had a NSU scooter a 250 cc two stroke as well never ever got that to fire up .swopped it for something i cant recall .

yes i ve cooked a full meal. but only since the wife cant walk much . waiting for a hip replacement.
