Do they live nearby?

Steve bought the house next door , about 50 yards away and John bought a house just round the corner, about a 3 minute walk away.

Do you spend a lot of time with the grandkids?

cant not to .    see  them everyday .

How big is the city/town you live in?

small town about 9k population. we live in the suburbs, next to us is green fields . round the corner about a 5 minute walk is the river and walks n paths n cycle routes .4 minutes from the beach by car.
the town is split in two by the river

Inverness 102 miles.Edinburgh 270 miles ,Glasgow 280 miles. Perth 212miles .Dundee 223 miles.

Wow that's quite a ways. Looks like a nice place thoughand have some nice beaches.

What sort of industry is in your town?

none at all .
Used to be the biggest fishing Port in Britain  but that,s all gone now. we have a world famous whiskey distillery though. Old Poultney. Lots of small businesses .builders joiners house builders etc . and Dounereay Atomic Power station . now being decomitioned  nr Thurso

Is there any tourism?

yes, we have lot s to see here. Camster Cairn,s( old burial chamber s from the picts time) long long before america was discovered  ..Castles, ...Queen Mum s castle of Mey.
loch s , lakes great fishing & shooting. golden beaches, golf courses. trips to Orkney Islands.
wide open uninterupted spaces. Dunrobin.Castle..... castle ruins.and of course our warm highland hospitality ....

Yeah Grace is doing well , still on two crutches for another couple of weeks , then one for a month and maybe a stick for a further month. but she s doing really well and mostly pain free, just a little healing pain. thank s Bill .

forgot to mention there s a cracking golf course 3 minutes from my home with a nice beach next to it (Reiss beach & golf course.

then there,s a beautifull beach at Dunnet bay about 15 miles away .loads of sandy beaches scattered around.

nope. but was thinking on maybe taking it up.  might be a great way to keep fit.
but i got my bike for that as well

It is a lot of fun. Can be expensive though. I used to have my own set of clubs and went golfing. Sucked but I had fun.

Do you watch Tennis on tv? Lot of people seem to be addicted to it.

only if the females are playing. no not really.

i watch boxing . formula 1 .motor cycling. rally cross and motoring shows

right here on the puter . i guess . like a bit of gardening when im in the mood .
