THE couple in the UKIP fostering row told last night of their anguish at seeing three kids taken from them by a council.

Officials removed the Eastern European children, fearing membership of the anti-EU party meant the fosterers were racist.

The mum, of Rotherham, South Yorks, said: “We would not have taken these children on if we’d been racist.”

She told how they bought Christmas presents for the two girls and boy snatched from their care.

Council officials removed the children following an anonymous tip-off that the couple were UKIP members.

They acted amid fears that the white pair’s political affiliations meant that they were racists.

Its the world gone crazy...Shame for the kids though..

what ever your political views, should not effect your ability, to look after children, and i think rotherham social services are out of order
