favorite meal what would it be

Don't really have a favourite meal.. I like most meals as long as they're well cooked.. that's hard to do given I'm a retired head chef...

Ok Sandy, let's rephrase this for you..... It is your last day with a friend who is about to emigrate to a land far away and is unlikely to return in their lifetime. You invite them to dinner to say a final farewell. Where do you go? Do you stay in and cook?

I can cook better than most of the hotels chefs here, so yea, I probably would stay in and slap up something for them.. dunno what it'd be though, it'd depend on the friend and what they like...

Biggest meal I ever did was a buffet for 100 people for their wedding when I worked in a hotel as a chef many years ago, the head chef decided to let me do all the work just to see if I would cope and I did even got a £100.00 tip from the best man

I love cooking my favorite dish had to be Oxtail and veg

You can also have Yorkshire Pudding with Jam at the end of a meal as well. It might sound a little off but it aint, its lovely..

It's almost as bad as adding things to a good whiskey eh, it's not the sort of thing you do...

Its nice, its for any left over after the meal, Nan used to do it all the time . But yeah with gravy is the go with the meal.....

Ya potty fingers strawberry jam on yorkshire pudding.. where I come from, if there was leftovers, there was left over gravy.. can't get to grips with this jam on the pud idea,

I could! Yummmy add a dollop of whipped cream..... hhhhmmmmm

Gawd help us, we got another one.. make too much gravy, that way there's some left for the leftover yorkshire pudding...
