A One man crime wave who assaulted two elderly women in their own homes has begun a life jail term today where he must serve a minimum of 6 years imprisonment

I agree life should mean life , But when there put away for there crimes ,They might as well be sent on a bloody holiday ,For there aint no such thing as doing hard time these days and aint been for a very long time , Where is the flaming justice for the victims in that , Is it any wonder they often reofend time and time again .,

Noooooooo you can't make the poor dears do hard time, it's an infringement of their *yuman rights*
I mean God forbid there wasn't a 56 inch flat screen tv for them to watch, or a games room complete with all the latest consoles and games, or a state of the art gym and a la carte menu at dinner!!

This country and it's *justice system* are a bloody joke. It's time we got OUT of the EU and told Strasbourg to get stuffed and stop interfering in our laws!!

Couldn't agree more. I seem to remember ranting about this kind of thing before. Probably more than once. Its high time the judicial system in this country was tightened up a bit and reasonable sentences were handed out for serious crimes, like murder, assault. The whole thing is just a farce and then there the soft option prisons.

Human rights is the worst thing that ever happened to this nation but unfortunately its always the criminal's human rights, and never the bloody victim's.
