depends on where one goes, johno. one minute smooth riding, bumpy and gravelly the next. you don' want to end up in the cactus that's for sure! {gasp} We'll need loads of water, too!

Got the DVD player and some movies, taking cards, and some games. Bought a rain slicker today, as it's predicted to rain all but Mon & Tues....

But hey... temps are expected to be nice. Mon & Tues Sunny and in low 80's, the rest of the week 30-50% chance rain in the 70's....

The fish do get frisky between rain storms.... so do I... hehehehe

Okay... ya'll can keep playing if you want but I just have to share this, and thought this was the appropriate place.....

I'm very organized person, especially when it comes to packing. After the many years of doing so, I have a typed up list on my computer of things we take everytime so all I have to do is print it out and add whatever else we might think of, and mark it off as it gets packed. Right? Simple? you would think so.

I had to work the weekend prior to leaving on our trip (Fri/Sat/Sun--3 twelve hour shifts), so hubby and I have been slowly packing for a week. I packed all my personal stuff --except for stuff I needed the last minute-- Thursday before having to work the weekend. (My kids are old enough they can pack their own clothes and if they forget to bring something, well... then ooh welll..too bad. ) Saturday night when I get home, I finalize my personal stuff and I'm looking at this camping list, there's still last minute stuff on there to be packed. Hubby is responsible for getting it packed, and then making two trips to the campground to haul the boat and the trailer.) Looking at this list, I think.... Should I take a highlighter and highlight what is left? Nah, Terri... that's way too OCD, he can do it... no problem... BIG MISTAKE.

I get to the campground Sunday night and meet my family after working all day. I soon find out that if things weren't packed by Saturday night, (except for refridgerated stuff--which my daughter packed--she did forget all the vegetables tho) it didn't get packed at all.

Get this: hubby brings the coffee pot, filters... BUT NOT COFFEEE!!!!!!!!! I wanted to kill him! I've must have my coffee in the morning! So guess who got to go to the store first thing the next morning for coffee? That's right......Hubby. LOL. He brings back two medium cups and they were cold by the time he gets back. uggghhhh...


So.... Next camping trip....I'm making sure I bring the coffee.

I'm a coffee fiend too, seek...I feel your pain on this one!! LOL Husbands can't live with them...can't live without 'em...

LOL, WG... he rarely drinks beer, and I never do... But he did bring plenty of wine and bourbon!

with all that, screw the coffee!
