Wheelie Bins

I have just heard this minute that in some areas of Manchester they are going to introduce 'Skips' so that locals can take their garbage and empty it in there, to then do away with the refuse vans.
I saw this was in practise in Portugal several years ago, it did work there, not sure how the elderly and infirm can manage to take theirs to the skips, unless some provision is set up beforehand to help them.

Yes so true, also I wonder how long it will take for some unsavourables to take it out and throw it around the areas there, hope not of course, but it is open to that.

Yes, so much could happen, just pleased I am nearer the countryside here, seems it might take a lot longer for that idea of the skip to reach the village, fingers crossed. X'd

There is a big difference in areas..
Manchester is huge, I am outside of Manchester, but I am classed as living in 'Greater Manchester' that covers a lot of areas in Lancashire.
