Eighteen birds beheaded in Wythenshawe Park, Manchester

Eighteen birds have been beheaded, a frog speared, fish poisoned and 130 windows smashed at a Manchester park.

The vandals broke into the aviary in Wythenshawe Park between 1630 BST on Saturday and 1000 BST on Sunday.

After beheading the birds, they threw the carcasses around. They then filled a pond with fertiliser, killing the carp. They also chopped down trees.

Greater Manchester Police said they believed more than £10,000 of damage had been caused.

What I want to know is, WHY??? What possible motive could they have for doing something as mindless and cruel as this? Do they think it's funny? Was it because they were bored out of their tiny skulls and didn't know what to do with themselves?

What kind of kids are some parents raising these days? WG you have to be right, it HAS to be down the parents and the way they drag some of these kids up. Some parents simply don't care. In fact I'd go as far as to say that sadly, there are some people in this country who only have kids so they can get benefits. They don't actually care about raising the kids properly,or bringing them up to be decent people.

I wonder what excuses will offered by the defence for the actions of these brainless neanderthals. Little shits. What punishment will they get though?
