have any of you had any wierd and wonderful gifts in the past

its not mother day here until may

when is mother's day here? is it sunday..no idea..I think my daughter got me something (hubby said she did)..she skived off school when her dad was going to dumfries and went with him..the strangest gifts I got were the ones they make at school..the cards with glitter and macaroni on them which I loved but one year she made this pot thingie that was all out of shape and paint splattered on it in different colours and it's tiny so you can't put anything in it..my youngest son always signs the card that his sister buys (he's cheap)..oldest son works for gala bingo so they usually have some promotion stuff that u can win..so he helps himself to that and gives me whatever they have (he's cheap too)..was cups and saucers one year with mum on it..got a big teddy bear last year from my daughter in a clear bag with a big ribbon on it

Tracy I don't know when it is either I know my daughter has hidden something in our bungalow,sons don't bother they think it's a waste of money.To be honest i would rather them bother all year round than just on mothers day...i don't mean with gifts just phone or whatever.
One of the worst presents I got was a nail care kit.everything in it to do your nails...but................I bite mine

shes bought her mother 2 gooseberry bushes

you know I would be over the moon if I got a cactus plant...I've grew the things for 15 years..my daughter calls me the crazy cactus woman.. it's nice to be loved

I'll get a card if I'm lucky from the boys . Johns daughter has apparently ordered some flowers and chocolates for me that are coming on saturday, dont know if Rachael will have got me anything other than a card but not expecting them too as its too close to my birthday

Well I got flowers, chocolates and a glass paperweight with flowers on and love them all. John cooked me a lovely breakfast this morning as well

my kids done me breakfast to and it was nice

I've had a lovely lazy day and right now I'm eating Thornton's chocolates. Mmmmmmmmm.

carrie made me breakfast and I got cards ..socks with mum on them..chocs..a heart shaped plague with a phrase on it..my card from my oldest was one of those moonpig ones and it had photos of my 3 kids on the front

i got 2 bottles o booze, 1 bottle o mead and a bottle of cookie's and cream which i never heard of before..........it's lovely, and earings from my daughter

I got my Mum a bouquet of flowers , a box of Satin Creams(from Belgium) a CD of Love songs and a card from Moonpig with all my Grandchildren and kids on!!
I also got a big overdraft

was lovely apart from the fact that it's 2 teenagers and one in their 20s so had 2 making faces and the other posing

also got perfume yesterday as I was visiting my oldest and he dragged me to the shops
