Heavy snow forecast already

Well here in Scotland anyway, the warning is out for the heavy snow as of today, up to 8 inches in some places. How do you all feel about snow then?

I hate the stuff, the only place i like it, is on a Christmas card. Years ago i did'nt mind it at all, although i never really loved it, but these days, the youngsters throw snowballs at your windows and it gives you such a bliddy fright. I nearly jump out of my skin i can tell you, that and the fact that as soon as snow falls the schools send the pupils home, poor wee things, can't have them in school, when they could be annoying folks ALL day instead of just from 4 O'Clock. we've got it forecast here in the east as well tonight. I hate it, can fall over when its dry outside without having to worry about walking on snow and ice Heavy snow forecast already 44866

we really need to take notice of other countries that get snow all the time when nothing stops and all the kids manage to go to school..I can never understand the fuss of them on tv going on about weather warnings...it is winter after all..we're supposed to get cold weather and snow..I like snow..I'm a winter person..was born just before christmas so maybe that's it..

I agree with Tracy...WHEN is this country going to learn in winter,it's cold and we have frost and snow!! Why can't they grit the roads BEFORE it snows.Not much good warning us on tv that it will snow not everyone can stay indoors Groan

I used to luv snow as a kid would have stayed out in it all day....not so keen now though Heavy snow forecast already 44866

I would welcome it over the xmas period when I dont have to venture out in it. Other than that I hate it because it makes life more difficult :furious:

Being on the south east coast I cant see us being affected by snow but perhaps ice will be bad enough! And I still do not have the central heating on yet!!!!

Weve had the heavy frost for past few days , But woke up this morning to a light snow fall , The dogs are enjoying it though . Groan
