How fair is Britain?

Attempts to close the pay gap between men and women appears to be "grinding to a halt", the Equality and Human Rights Commission has said.

Its wide-ranging 700-page report said women on average earned 16% less than men, widening to 27% for women aged 40.

Gone are the days when men were the main bread winners in a household so why now if a woman is doing the same job as a man and sometimes running a home too ,then why can't she get paid as much as a man.Now woman work in all walks of life not as in the "olden" days so let them be equal.
