i found out

my youngest smokes last night
well 3.30 am this morning cheeky git txt me in bed and said come down for a beer which he didnt have he then got diane up to ask her to go get some ffs
and she said no so he txt ryan and he said no
but he asked me for a cig and said in a slurred voice i hate the sight of them when im sober but like them when he,s drunk
he then said dont tell mum
and then decided to have another when she came down to sort him out ffs

oooh he's a brave lad, funny thing when i was young the only time i smoked was when i was drinking, i used to give what was left to my dad

only a couple when hes been drinking
lets hope he sticks to it
well he,s 22 in 2 mths so i cant say anything i started when i was about 13

yeah you can hardly give him hell when he's 22, i was 21 when i started a stupid cow gave me a fag when i came out the delivery room after i had kevin ................i cursed her for years

one of my fav stories my hubby told me is when he was 14 he decided to be all cocky and walked into the house with a cig hanging out his mouth..his mother gave him a right hook and slapped the thing out his mouth and near took his head off too ..it didn't stop him from smoking though..that was done by the stroke he had in his early 30s..but what young person is going to be told of the dangers of having a cig..lucky for us that our 3 kids have seen what happens and none of them has ever tried them..let's hope your son doesn't take them up full time

I have never smoked. When I was young and we went on outings in the car the first thing both my parents did was smoke and continued to do throughout the journey. They were different times and passive smoking wasnt talked about. Anyway I turned out to be a poor traveller with this and would always honk up at some point but the connection wasnt made until some years later. It was like sitting in a fog sometimes.

I smoked years ago but realised how bad for your health..and others it is.,so stopped.I just wish i had known before all the health problems.

That was how I started wg..............................and before I stopped I was smoking 30-40 a day. Tell him to give it up now before it takes a hold.

i did love but weather he listens or not is a different story :dunno:

He probably won't.........................i didn't when my sister told me.
