well it says my clan is macdonald for Macburie but it is Matheson for mcbirnie on an other site
As my spelling of my clan is mcbirnie i will go with Matheson unless they joined forces

With my surname there is no clan affiliation, which is what I told you before WG Cann does not belong to MacCann.

If I go to my mother's maiden name, I fall into the Sutherland clan :D

Both my maternal parents have ancestors from scotland yet their names didn't come up. Even the generations name before that.

Will check again after checking the website where my famiily tree is drawn up.
