couldnt put my numbers on this week even tried online then found out about this

I read a woman lost £800,000 because of the glitch, I'm not sure how, did she use her numbers regularly, then couldn't buy a ticket, and the same numbers she used came up that she could have won it?
I would have thought if a machine had a glitch, then the games should have been postponed.
