A MOTHER has been charged with posting a naked photo of her 14-year-old daughter on Facebook.
Lynda Rusk from Lafayette, Indiana, is accused of uploading the snapshot onto the girls' own page after finding it on her iPhone.
The 50-year-old claims she's not responsible for publishing the underage image - but police insist they have proof she was in possession of the phone at the time, having confiscated it from her daughter.
Police spent a year gathering internet and mobile phone evidence against Rusk, before charging her with child exploitation and possession of child pornography.
They also worked with child protection experts to ensure the photo has been wiped from the net.
Detective Mark Pinkard explained: "We wanted to make sure to do everything we could for this young lady.
"A major concern was, you never know who saw the photo. Anyone could have saved it or took a screenshot.
