THREE courageous Caithness men who together have spent more than 90 years rescuing people on the high seas around the county have had their long service recognised.
Thurso lifeboat’s coxswain, William "Wing" Munro (59), has been given a 40-year service medal from the RNLI while his brother and second coxswain, Dougie Munro, received a 30-year service medal.
Crew member Kevin Davidson was honoured for his 20 years’ service.
Together the three dedicated volunteers have given nearly a century of service in the name of the Royal National Lifeboat Institute.
