The body of a bookmaker who was murdered by his tax inspector wife and their daughter has never been found. In the past prosecutors have been wary of charging suspects in cases like this - so how difficult is it to convince a jury to convict a killer without the evidence of a body? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-17464298

I wouldn't like to be a jury member in a case like that. I don't understand how a person can be charged with murder when the 'victim' hasn't been found. How can they be sure, the victim is dead, and not just gone missing? In spite of all the other evidence that the prosecution produces, as a jury member, I'd still have doubts because there wasn't a body.
