| If it's anything like here these days, it'll be sock it to the little fella time so the rich get richer.. there's always something for the rich and the businesses, not much for those of us at the bottom of the heap eh.. it'd be good to see a government do more for the small business owners though, these guys have been copping it a bit in recent years... | |

| It seems most budgets these days have little in the way of major surprises, unless it's an election year, then it's a case of, "We're giving this now with more to come after the elections"... it's a pity none or few of those "after the elections" things ever happen.. it's a good way of getting a few extra votes though... | |

| Speaking of inflation, has anyone noticed how prices go up as soon as you get a pay rise?... it seems every time I get a bit extra, prices go up to match the extra I get :S | |

One thing I noticed with the welfare system, the inflation for the year may be 4.8% for instance, people on a benefit may get 2% on their benefits.. I'm usually left wondering where the other 2.8% went.. they want those on unemployment benefits to get a job, I think they should get enough money to be able to put petrol in the car to get to job interviews... | |
