Two men have gone trial accused of break-ins and thefts from post offices and businesses across the Highlands.
John Hind, 54, of Colne, in Lancashire, and Matthew Peters, 40, from Bournemouth, in Dorset, deny stealing £34,497 in cash and £10,508 in stock.
They have pleaded not guilty to 18 charges involving raids and attempt raids in Caithness, Sutherland, Ross-shire
The men have pleaded not guilty to break-ins to business premises in Lairg, Thurso, Wick and Achiltibuie
