gambit, i would'nt give 84 pence for it. It is absolutely hideous, whoever paid that for it has far more money than sense.

It has got a certain uniformity which is all I can glean from it being abstract.

Now that is very strange, gambit, uniformity is not what sprang to mind immediately but now you say it I can see it! My initial appeal for this piece was in the colours used.

It seems planned, not spontaneous. Not my idea of art, at all.

Well I suppose being that he is a respected artist it must have been planned to a degree even if only from the point it came from an idea he had for a picture in the first place. I would also say that if any of us set out to paint a picture it would be planned in that fashion. I just don't dislike it. I wouldn't buy it even if I was a mindless millionaire. There are probably many paintings I would buy. Can't think of one of the top of my head tbh can you?

I think it is worth £50 at most.
